Terms of Service

            Plain English Summary: Use Graze Planner responsibly for managing your farm. Your data is yours. We provide the tool as-is and aren't liable for grazing decisions. You can cancel or delete your account at any time.
        

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Graze Planner ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Graze Planner ("we", "us"), accessible at graze.free.nf.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
You must provide accurate information during registration
You are responsible for all activity under your account
Business accounts must be created by a person with authority to bind the farm or business to these Terms

3. Your Account

Registration

When you register, you create a farm account with one Owner user. You may add additional team members (Supervisors, Viewers) through the Settings panel.

Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential
Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
We implement security measures including session hardening, CSRF protection, and login rate limiting, but no system is 100% secure

Account Roles

The farm Owner has full administrative control. Team members have access governed by their assigned role (Supervisor or Viewer). The Owner is responsible for the actions of all users on their farm account.

4. Free Trial & Subscription

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features
No credit card is required during the trial period
After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription
Subscription pricing and payment details will be communicated within the Service
You may cancel your subscription at any time; your access will continue until the end of the paid period

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Graze Planner only for its intended purpose — managing grazing rotations for your farm. You must not:

Attempt to access other users' farm data or accounts
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service
Use the Service for anything unlawful or harmful
Upload malicious content, scripts, or attempt to disrupt the Service
Share your account credentials with individuals outside your farm operation
Create multiple free trial accounts to circumvent subscription requirements

6. Your Data

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Graze Planner, including paddock boundaries, herd configurations, grazing records, and map features. We do not claim any rights over your farm data.

Data Export

You can export your grazing logs as CSV files at any time from the Logs page. We believe your data should be portable and accessible to you.

Data Handling

We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, share, or monetise your farm data in any way.

7. The Service

Availability

We aim to provide consistent uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.

Suggestions Are Advisory Only

            ⚠️ Important: Paddock suggestions generated by Graze Planner are advisory tools based on rest-day calculations and your configured preferences. They are not professional agronomic or veterinary advice. You are solely responsible for all grazing decisions, animal welfare, and land management outcomes.
        

Third-Party Services

Graze Planner integrates with third-party services (Open-Meteo for weather, OpenStreetMap for maps). These services have their own terms and availability, which are outside our control.

Changes to the Service

We may update, modify, or add features to the Service from time to time. We will endeavour to maintain backward compatibility and notify users of significant changes.

8. Intellectual Property

Graze Planner, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law:

Graze Planner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
We are not liable for any losses arising from grazing decisions made using the Service, including but not limited to stock losses, pasture damage, or reduced production
We are not liable for data loss caused by system failures, though we make reasonable efforts to maintain data integrity
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Termination

By you: You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@grazeplanner.com.au
By us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or fail to pay subscription fees after reasonable notice
Upon termination, we will retain your data for 30 days to allow for export, after which it will be permanently deleted

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
